Fishing + Sanders

07 October, 2018

It's been a couple of months but with the weather warming we thought it was about time to venture out again! We didn't catch a thing - no bites, no nothing! So we ditched the plan and went to explore at Sanders instead. The golden glow was lovely and the boys enjoyed digging in the dirt and finding good sticks to take home.

Gannets

Off to see the gannets. No eggs or baby chicks yet!

Muriwai

20 July, 2018

It's school holidays and Mila's staying a few days with us. Noah's daycare goes throughout the holidays and it's nice getting some one on one time with Ashton. Sam's taken some days off work so we head out to Muriwai. It's a lovely day for it. Randa and her two daughters, a family Ash and I met the week before, are out at the beach as well so we say a quick hello before heading down the beach. We spot two seals on the way down!

Tid Bits: March - June

Bombing range

One day in Singapore

Early morning we wake up and grab our things. Sam and the driver are waiting downstairs for us and we have a little chat before we head off to the airport.
The ride to the airport is a little sad because this is the last we'll be seeing Thailand and it's been such a good time.
When we get to the airport I have to say goodbye to the coral I've been hanging onto ever since phi phi. It's really sad to let it go. It's so beautiful and holds good memories.

Thailand: Day 12 (Farm. Promthep Cape)

31 May, 2018

We then head off to Sam’s friends farm. We get into Sam’s car and he takes us to a look out. We meet his friend there and hop into the back of his ute while Sarah gets inside.

It's so cool, I didn't think I'd be doing this! We drive off and I'm so giddy! I can't believe we're doing this. He drives onto some dirt roads and it gets real bumpy. We all stand up, this is proper off roading!

Thailand: Day 8 (Phi Phi islands - Bamboo)

27 May, 2018

We walk up to the ladies restaurant and have breakfast there. As always, we're the only ones eating in the restaurant. Eggs on toast and muesli. The lady takes a picture of us before we leave! She's so sweet!

We head down to the Pak Up Hostel, where we organised to get picked up because it's more central and closer to all of the cafes and restaurants. The tour drivers are already there and we hop into the back of the ute and wait for them to grab more people. They end up being the Canadians that took the Tiger Cave Temple tour with us! It's so funny when you bump into other tourists you've seen before.

Fishing in Riverhead River (February - March)

24 March, 2018
We love going out on the river and catching fish! And it's such a good place to fish too! We'll catch somewhere from 3 - 8 fish each time. Within seconds we can feel bites, it's so exciting!
