Muriwai

It's school holidays and Mila's staying a few days with us. Noah's daycare goes throughout the holidays and it's nice getting some one on one time with Ashton. Sam's taken some days off work so we head out to Muriwai. It's a lovely day for it. Randa and her two daughters, a family Ash and I met the week before, are out at the beach as well so we say a quick hello before heading down the beach. We spot two seals on the way down!

Goat Island
They had such fun snorkelling, Ashton and Mila side by side they entire time. Then we walked down the beach, the kids climbed the rocks. It was such a good day.

We got a pool! Thank goodness for that because it's been so hot. They love playing in there and go in everyday!

The kids loved this pool - though it didn't stay up long. They'd be in it every second they could be and we enjoyed our after school swims!

Zirka Circus was mysterious, entertaining and magical. The were absolutely blown away with the performances. We love Zirka because it is animal free and we're totally against animal cruelty.

Walking the dogs has always been something we've loved to do. Found a new track and we're off!
Mila's first Boat Trip
The boat had been sitting there for a while but we finally got it out! And what fun we had! It was a little choppy - but not too much. Mila was a little scared at first, she kept thinking we would run into a shark! But as she got more confident the fun began! She told Dad to go out deeper, into the bigger waves, up and down we would go. It was so nice out there and loved having the sun on my back.

We love Muriwai beach. It never gets old and the kids can stay there all day long. There something new to discover and explore every few meters.

Mila loved the float, she tried a couple of times and made it to the end. It looked slippery - lots of kids fell off.
Adventure Park, Silverdale
Adventure Park for the kids. A little bit too small for Mila but she still had fun with the boys. They loved all running around in the play area.
