We head over to the palace just to realize we're not covered up enough - the guys need to wear pants and the girls need to cover up their shoulders. We head back outside and decide what to do.
A tour guide comes up to us and tells us that he can give provide us clothes and a tour guide. We discuss to go along with him and love visiting the grand palace. It was super hot! We learned lots of things we wouldn't have without a tour guide and I'm glad we went with him!
After that we head over to the medical museum.
We take a ferry straight across to the other side. It's nice being on the river and I wish we had more time on it.
We have lunch there, at a restaurant right by the river. The food is really good, so much better than yesterday.
We stroll through some markets.
We then walk over to the museum. Troy is the navigator and always seems to know where to go! I think we'd be lost without him.
The medical museum is amazing. They have real deformed babies in fluid and checking them out is crazy. Never seen anything like it. They also had tragic accidents, tsunami, everything was shocking to see.
To see photos/videos about the Medical Museum see the next post.
Back on the river to the other side.
That night we go to Khao Sang Road. It's raining. Sam gets soaked in the Tuk Tuk. We play loud music and a truck full of guys stops next to us at the lights and start to dance along with the music. It's crack up.
We arrive and it's still miserable. We find shelter and Troy grabs some pad Thai and drinks. The pad Thai is really good and light.
The rain stops we walk along the street. There are guys selling ping pong show and laughing gas, other than that it's pretty tame. Troy and Sam try some crickets. Apparently they’re pretty bad. We grab some drinks at a bar where they have live music then head to another bar which also play live music. Both are pretty good. We get back at 1am!
