We then head off to Sam’s friends farm. We get into Sam’s car and he takes us to a look out. We meet his friend there and hop into the back of his ute while Sarah gets inside.
It's so cool, I didn't think I'd be doing this! We drive off and I'm so giddy! I can't believe we're doing this. He drives onto some dirt roads and it gets real bumpy. We all stand up, this is proper off roading!
It goes on for ages, we spend 20-30min driving through these crazy bumpy roads. There are quad bikes and motorbikes there too, driving past.
When we arrive we see that Sam wasn't joking, there are moose here! There's also a baby one. The farm looks nothing like I expected, its hilly, there are trees everywhere and it leads down to the rocks and the beach. It's beautiful out there. I wish I could go for a swim, it looks amazing. What a place to live and work!
We drive back, the dog follows and surprisingly doesn't stop until 10-15 minutes. It's got to be a hard walk on such a day.
We make a stop along the track and walk a little way where we can see Promthep Cape and the coastline and some islands. Gorgeous.
I put my GoPro inside and really enjoyed the journey back, surrounded by nature. Those cicadas are so loud. We get back to the lookout, thank Sam’s friend for the amazing experience and hop back into Sam’s car.
We go to Promthep Cape, where we watch as the sun sets. There are so many mozzies and tourists around.
The walk down the cape is long and hard, we only go half way.
Back at the hostel and order BBQ again and enjoy our last dinner in Thailand. We leave our mark on Sam’s wall.
Sam goes for a night swim with Troy and I go have one last massage.
