Thailand: Day 7 (Railay West)

Railay West

We then take the next street to the main beach. It was beautiful, but we kind of expected more. We hopped into the water, it wasn't that warm and was murky but we enjoyed being in the water. We sunbathed and it felt great - could have easily fallen asleep if I wasn't getting burned by the sun.

We chose a nice restaurant to eat at. The prices were nearly twice as much than Krabi. The waiter didn't smile, didn't talk, she was really quite confusing and rude.

Sam ordered a green curry and I got yellow. It was quite good!

Next we headed over to the other side of the beach to check out a viewpoint, the sun was bearing down on us. It was crazy hot and we knew we were getting burned so we re applied sunblock. We walked through the other side of the beach - it connected to another beach. It was rocky and muddy and felt like we were in Uncharted - a PS3 game. 

It came out to another beach but it was low tide and very rocky, there were lots of rock climbers there though.

We head back and go down walking street - loads of good places to eat and have a drink, some good clothes shops too. We wish we saw it before going to that expensive as restaurant!

It takes a while for the long tail to leave as it's waiting for more people to join, but finally we get on board. This one is packed, with about 12 people on board. 

We have dinner at Up to You Too.

There are a few night markets right by the river on the way home. We stop by and grab a drink. They tasted a bit funny..
