Thailand: Day 7 (Railay East)

26 May, 2018

We walk the short walk to town. There are guys at street corners saying "Railay! Railay!"

We buy some Thai touristy ones for 300 baht each - it's quite expensive!

When we walk along the river we get stopped by a few guys seeing if we'd like to go to Railay. We grab a long tail boat shared with three others and head over. It was an half an hour ride. I sit up the front, feeling like a Viking from the Vikings show we're currently watching.

We reach Railay. It's hot and we're not at the main beach so we have to walk. First we go to a smaller beach. The walkway there is amazing, right next to the limestone cliffs.

You weren't allowed to feed the monkeys (we didn't see any anyway) and there were no drones allowed on Railay.

We reach the beach and see people climbing the cliffs. That's got to be hard, especially in this weather!

Just behind them was the cave full of penis carvings, meant for good fertility for the whole world. We have a good laugh at it.
