After we all sat around and watched while baby elephant and mum had a mud bath. Baby elephant loved being in the mud. And mother would squirt water at all of us! It was cool to see them enjoy it. Next we got to go in with the three older elephants. We grabbed mud and covered them in it. The staff helped getting us dirty as well. Right before they took a photo of us one of them covered my face with mud! The elephants loved a good scrub down and the locals made a ball of mud with a few little stones in it to give them a good scrub down. The elephant used their trunks to cover themselves in mud also and they'd get us too!
Next we went into the water with them. It was a hot day so it felt good being in the water. The elephants loved it too!
We could go right under the elephant. It was pretty cool.
We scrubbed the elephants clean just for them to roll in the sand the second they got out of the water!
We washed off afterwards. The dirt in my shorts definitely wasn't coming out!
They had pictures of us in frames that we could buy but at 250 baht it was a little too expensive. Their photos were pretty good, a lot of them are in here - it's pretty cool that they took photos as well and posted them on Facebook. A lady boy was selling them! It was hard to take her seriously.
We have BBQ dinner with Sarah, Troy and Sam.
