We had a tour booked to see some pools and the tiger cave. We walked to a cafe and had breakfast, then walked back to our hotel. The walk is always nice, it's right by the river. I got something like Eggs Benedict but with a cheesy sauce (I'm not sure if it went well together) and Sam got a omelette.
Emerald Pool
This was a cold pool - thank goodness - it was such a hot day! We had expected it to be a colder one! It's hard to tell with the weather forecast being so inaccurate. The walk to the pools took about 15 minutes. It was nice but we were so hot and sweaty! I love the wooden fencing!
We arrive and it's so beautiful, so clear. The tour guide tells us to leave our bag and hop in. It's so good. You could easily spend so much time there, explore the grounds and the markets but we only have an hour.

Our next stop is to the hot stream. It's not far. Time for some sunscreen because it's hot! Again the walk isn't too long, 5-10 min.
They said it would be around 30-40 degrees so I didn't express to hop in but it was so nice! The rocks were green, but not mossy or slippery at all.
So I went in a joined him and got quite a shock! There were heaps of leaves down the bottom and the bottom felt slushy and yuck, I screamed! And then Sam was telling me how there could be snakes and eels in there so I quickly got out! Sam seemed to like it though. As you moved further away from the falls, the leaves disappeared and it wasn't too bad, but it was actually cold, very cold! And I hated not knowing what was beneath me.
