The lighthouse is a short walk away from the carpark, stop and read a bit of the history and take in the views. I wish we had time to do some of the walks but we had a two hour drive back to the bach, if you’d like to do one make sure you plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time. The views are spectacular and I’m sure it would be well worth it!
See the two oceans collide, the Pacific and the Tasman sea. It’s pretty awesome to see!
Not far is the ninety mile beach sand dunes! It feels like a desert, there’s so much sand. Ride down the sand dunes – you can hire boards for $15 from a friendly local that will give you all the best tips on where to go first and how to stay safe. There are guided coach tours that drive along 90 Mile Beach.
