Building Downstairs Flat at Mum + Dad's

Sam helped build the downstairs flat. Many Saturdays were spent there getting it ready for Ants to live in. The boys had fun firing the nail guns!

Mila loved the float, she tried a couple of times and made it to the end. It looked slippery - lots of kids fell off.
Adventure Park, Silverdale
Adventure Park for the kids. A little bit too small for Mila but she still had fun with the boys. They loved all running around in the play area.

Rotorua Trip: Hell's Gate

A different but fun experience, the pools were so hot! So relaxing, could easily fall asleep. It was a fun experience slapping mud on yourself. But the most amazing part? The walk. Just great. Didn't even realise it was there!
Rotorua Trip: Kerosene Creek
Kerosine creek was a fun find. It wasn't the warmest of days so we weren't sure if we were brave enough to hop in, after we dipped our toes in we decided to just do it and we were so glad we did. It was paradise.
We sat under the falling water and allowed ourselves to drift down the creek. It was so nice being in such a beautiful place in a warm creek. Could have easily stayed here all day, the weather wasn't great but the water was so warm.

Rotorua Trip: Rotorua Lake

The lake was gorgeous at sunset, perfect time to go for a walk around the place.
The setting was so beautiful and relaxing. We didn't have anywhere particular to go, our only goal was to explore the city. Wherever we walked there was steam rising into the sky. we found ourself at a park.
